8th West Bridgford - St Luke's Brownies
We meet in the church hall, every Tuesday during term time, 6.00pm - 7.15pm. The Unit Guider is Jennifer King and Assistant Guiders are Lucy Ednay, Jane Skelton, Laura Van Weyenburgh and Danielle Carnelly.
Brownies is open to all girls aged 7-10 years. We have 3 intakes a year: January, Easter and September and girls can start at the beginning of the term after their 7th Birthday (subject to availability).

We meet in the church hall on Mondays during term time, 7.30pm - 9.00pm. The Unit Guider is Kaye Hannah and Assistance Guiders are Jenny Marshall, Emma Freestone, Jo Cox-Brown, Elaine Branch and Stephanie Hall. Young Leaders are Anne-Marie Jennings and Stephanie Page.
Guides is open to all girls aged between 10 and 16. Being a Guide is all about learning new skills, making new friends and helping others. Each Guide is encouraged to achieve her own personal goals through a progressive programme with the opportunity to work for a wide variety of badges. This allows the girl to mature and develop at her own pace.
Guides work together in Patrols, groups of four to eight girls, providing a ready-made group of friends and helping the girls to feel that they belong to something special. They elect their own Patrol Leader. A Patrol plans its own activities with the support of the Guide Leader so that each Guide learns to share in decisions that affect herself and others in the Patrol. We do a wide variety of activities including:
- Games
- Camping
- 'Go-for-it' challenges
- Campfire cooking
- Water activities
- Archery
- Bowling
- Crafts
- Badges
- And much more!
