LYFT

LYFT meet on a Sunday morning at 9.30am and Friday. They are made up of people from school years 7, 8 and 9. They work as a team to learn about God, support each other and grow their faith. Every year there is a weekend away together for Christian teaching, fun and very late nights! Over the past year we have had a sleepover, been tobogganing, led a morning service in church, run a one day youth event, been on a weekend away and many other things besides.

LYFT Sunday

11-14s go out of the service on Sunday mornings to LYFT. Adam, one of the LYFT members from 9.30am, says:

“All in all LYFT Sunday is an excellent group and I love it!”

LYFT Friday

Amy says...
"LYFT on a Friday is a Youth Club. Our LYFT members invite their friends to come and play games, eat food and have a laugh. This gives non-Christians as well as Christians a chance to meet their friends freely, to have fun and if desired, to learn more about God in an interesting way."

“As a Christian myself, I find LYFT on a Friday a great chance to socialise and finish a busy week positive and focused upon God. But mainly, LYFT has been a great way to invite friends!”

LYFT gives newcomers a chance to ask questions about God and to learn more about the Christian faith. LYFT starts off as a social time providing games and activities, then leads on to provided refreshments and a short talk by one of the youth leaders or young teenage leaders. Afterwards, the time is again free to socialise and have fun.

LYFT+

Mel says...
LYFT+ is for those that want a bit more on a Friday. We relax on bean bags in the prayer room with music by candlelight. We share our worries and support each other in prayer.

“I think LYFT+ is a great opportunity for young people to get closer to God. All of us at LYFT think it’s awesome and it shows how God can really change your life when you have problems and worries!”
