This engaging and innovative take on the Easter Story is performed by the Riding Lights Theatre Company and has been specially filmed for Easter 2021. With stark intimacy, it casts a surprising light on the death of Jesus from inside Pontius Pilate’s household, immersing us in the decision-making that led to his crucifixion.

There will be time to stop and reflect on the events as they unfurl. Watch the trailer here and join us at 7.30pm on Good Friday - it's free!  Please contact the Church Office and we will send you a link as the Terms of the Licence for the screening cannot be publicised anywhere.

Following on from our FAB Feb event - when more than 60 local families followed a treasure hunt trail, joined Zoom Zumba and did something wonderful to brighten up their community - we have a new challenge for Easter! From the morning of Good Friday through to teatime on Easter Monday we are organising an Easter Trail for local families. Starting from St Luke’s Church, the trail has challenges, QR codes to discover and discussion points to chat about.

Unpack the Easter story ‘on the move’ with a circular route that has something for every age. It’s really simple to get involved; just visit the windows outside St Luke’s anytime from Good Friday to Easter Monday and follow the instructions! For more information email Sarah Sharpe or just turn up!

All online services are streamed on Facebook and YouTube. Due to current restrictions, we have to limit the number of people attending our services in person. Please let us know you are coming so we can ensure appropriate social distancing, by either phoning or emailing the Church Office.
